In my childhood, I initiated my artistic journey by experimenting with a paint-by-number set. As I progressed, my artistic pursuits expanded to encompass a diverse range of mediums, including graphite, watercolor, oil pastels, color pencils, acrylics, and inks, with a particular emphasis on oils. The majority of my formal art education was acquired during my residence in California. Before formal training, I was primarily self-taught through books, extensive study of artists and museums, and a process of trial and error. The initial stages of my artistic exploration were marked by numerous setbacks and failures, eventually leading me to discern and appreciate what I truly love about working with oil paints. In September and October 2023 I had a gallery show at Prescott Center For the Arts for nine of my paintings. In November 2023, I showed at the Yavapai College Art Gallery.

Artist Statement
My art is classical, perceptible, and soothing. My goal is to capture light and dark, which gives dimension, visual order, depth, and beauty with deep and vibrant color. My art focuses on refined and precise details. I see my subjects as clear and clean forms, striking color, and a collection of many parts. I am absorbed into the painting as it grows and develops, and my skill is in deliberate and exacting brush strokes capturing the essence of subjects. It is this visual order which pleases and invites. I want my viewers to see beauty refined to a single pedal. My art is unique because it is the beginning of art’s return to a natural realistic style.

Shipping cost for unmounted canvas or paper prints is $20 and shipped in a tube. If we mount a print and have it shipped to you, it will be more costly than you having it mounted at your destination. Mounting and shipping cost determined by quote only.

A gallery wrapped canvas is a method of stretching the canvas on one-to-two inch stretcher boards and wrapped on the edges to be stapled on the back of the boards. Wrapping makes the print ready to frame or hang without a frame.
Gallery wraps require wider stretcher boards, extra canvas, and more labor.
Any painting print is available on paper or canvas in various sizes.

The size of the original is the first size shown on print description.
Yes, due to printing parameters, too large an expansion may distort the print. Contact us to discuss larger or smaller sizes. Large prints are an extra cost above the cost of a painting’s largest size.
