About Dawn Chemello

I marketed my original paintings at art exhibitions held in various California Inland communities such as San Diego, Rancho Cucamonga, and Escondido. Following notable successes, I received an invitation to join the prestigious art club “The Valley Seven.” Achieving recognition, I secured “Best in Show” honors three times at both the Hemet Valley Art Gallery and the Riverside Art Gallery.

In 2015, I established my own art gallery, “The Wine Country Art Gallery,” situated in the picturesque grape vineyards of Temecula, California. The gallery became a platform not only for showcasing my own work but also for promoting other artists. I actively supported emerging talents through art lessons and exhibitions. The gallery facilitated the display of artworks, including mine, in local wineries and restaurants in Temecula. Notably, my painting “Hydrangeas,” featured here, was selected for the cover of the Jefferson Transitional Agency booklet and open house in 2012.

Upon relocating from California to Arizona, I furthered my art education by pursuing a Fine Arts degree at Yavapai College. This formal education refined my artistic skills and provided a solid foundation in art history, drawing across various mediums, two and three-dimensional design, and painting. I successfully obtained my diploma in May 2023.

We do not offer framing. Canvas orders mounted on stretch boards arrive ready to hang. The sides will be printed black, so no frame is required unless the buyer wishes to frame at their cost. Prints not mounted on stretcher boards costs considerably less to ship and will arrive in a tube. If print is mounted, shipping is calculated when order is placed.
Prints purchased on artist paper will be shipped in a tube. To maintain quality, artist paper needs to be framed and under glass. Framing will be the responsibility of the buyer

A gallery wrapped canvas is a method of stretching the canvas on one-to-two inch stretcher boards and wrapped on the edges to be stapled on the back of the boards. Wrapping makes the print ready to frame or hang without a frame.

Gallery wraps require wider stretcher boards, extra canvas, and more labor.
